“Diving is diving and don't judge the waters. It is always great to put yourself underwater and just breathe”. Have heard this statement so many times from so many people but never really believed it. Always thought you need to travel to these exotic destinations that you hear about or see on someone else's Facebook wall. In order to pursue this sport, we too have spent huge amounts of money traveling and diving in various parts of the world. Definitely no complaints on that but we have never considered India as great diving destination. Yes, when we did talk about India and diving, it was only the Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep. Both not very easily accessible and at the same time quite expensive to get to. All of that built into the idea that SCUBA is an expensive sport and also exclusive sport. We were so wrong..

One of the most beautiful and enriching experiences of my life. Snorkeling with the graceful Manta Rays of Hanifaru Bay. Have to be done by all at least once in ther lifetime.

I am often asked why I love to SCUBA ...The truth is that people love to dive for different reasons best known to them. For me its a kind of meditation. My own space, my own zone... ...... Yes! its always amazing to see gorgeous marine life too. But have realised over the years that that's not my draw to diving. For me its the sound of my own breath, the calm of the ocean and humbling feeling of being a drop in the vast blue. Its pure magic... Don't fight anything, respect your surrounding and live in the moment by focusing on each breath......Something we all could strive to do on the surface too

What a night! Thank you Sukesh Viswanath for a crisp presentation on the basics of UW Photography. And a very big thank you to all the divers to made it through the rain and heavy traffic to make this such a wonderful evening...It was lovely to host you all. We plan to make this a regular feature and will definitely keep you updated on the next session.

Eat Sleep and Dive is all what we did in the gorgeous Lakshadweep Islands. I must say Lakshadweep is one of the most under-rated islands in the South of Asia. Stunning waters, fantastic marine life, gorgeous beaches and the most lovely hospitable people. The perfect recipe for any pefect holiday. Even better when its a dive holiday. None of us had ever been there and we were the first divers for this season! That was definitely someting to be proud off :) We are so glad we chose these islands. Instantly fell in love and cannot wait to go back...and surely will.....A big thanks to Tanya, Shivram, Sayeed, Smitha, Ashish and Krithi who joined us and made our maiden AQUANAUT trip so wonderful....definietly hoping to buddy up again sometime soon! :)

I truly love my job !.. The sun, sand, travel, destinations, meeting new people (sexy divers) and of course the dives itself. Another fantastic trip to the lovely Havelock Island. Lots of luck to miss the incoming storm at the start of the trip and while leaving the Islands. Managed another fun trip in the short window of clear skies and sun. Phew! Truly lucky... .Was so good to meet everyone again on the islands....my second home. Visited most of the dive shops showcasing my latest equipment too. And its truly wonderful to see the numbers of Indians trying out Scuba and registering for various levels of courses. India is surely diving! The boats and diver traffic at dive site Bay View is testament to that. Can hardly wait to go back....what's even better now is that I can claim to to go back to these gorgeous destinations on work ;). Dive More. Dive Well.

We have never had so much fun at a Try-dive session. Working with kids is always a wonderful experience and to see them adapt to any new sport with so much ease is such a joy. Scuba was no different. Start them young we say! We thank XLR8, Hennur Road for being wonderful hosts and also giving us this opportunity to showcase our unique sport. Most importantly, Hats off! to all their members who came forward in great spirits to try it out. They were kids ranging from 8 years old to members who were 40+ . All of them dived and loved it. We truly had a blast and look forward to doing many more sessions at this great venue.

We welcome Dhananjay, Roma, Anurita, Varun, Priti and Kunal to the underwater world. They completed the theory, videos and all important confined water pool sessions right here in Bangalore and we planned a dive trip for them to Havelock Island, Andamans last month. They completed their Open Water + Advanced Open Water certification with Dive India and are thrilled to become the newest Aquanauts! It was our absolute pleasure to introduce them to this new world ! We wish them all the best and hope to buddy up with them on some upcoming dive trips.

Today, Seac is certainly a firm that sets benchmarks in the diving sector. Founded in 1971 as the brainchild of Attilio Rapallini and Marco Arata, more recently -- thanks to the support of his son Daniele -- the company is embarking on an important strategic renewal on several fronts: from the enrichment of the product lines to the expansion of the corporate organigram, from the repositioning of its image to the technological evolution in production. This impressive change has, however, left the true points of excellence that this company is known for unchanged; first of all, the inspection of each and every product, all verified and tested individually, a process that has always represented the crowning jewel of Seac.

A few pictures from our recent fresh water Scuba experience. A search and retreive mission that unfortunately failed. But must admit was a whole lot of fun at the end of it. Read all about it on our blog.
